Mr. Jason R. Joyner is a criminal defense lawyer and was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas with a B.A. in Business. While he was an undergraduate student, Mr. Joyner spent his summers working in San Antonio as an intern for a prominent local attorney. During this time, Mr. Joyner learned first hand the intricacies of criminal defense practice while laying the foundation for his ability to deliver quality legal services for his clients.
After his graduation from Southwestern, Mr. Joyner moved to East Lansing, Michigan, where he attended law school at Michigan State University. While in law school, Jason completed an externship at the Bexar County Courthouse. During this externship, he worked closely with various San Antonio judges and their staff. This opportunity gave him extensive insight and experience on how criminal cases are handled in Bexar County and throughout the State of Texas.
After earning his Juris Doctor in 2006, Mr. Joyner immediately returned to San Antonio, where he passed the Texas Bar Examination that same year. Mr. Joyner has successfully represented thousands of individuals charged with various criminal offenses. Mr. Jason Joyner is a has been selected as a member of the National Trial Lawyers Association – Top 100 , the National Association of Distinguished Counsel Nation’s Top One Percent, and in 2015 Jason was named one of the 10 Best in Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys.
Mr. Joyner is licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
Mr. Joyner lives in San Antonio and is an avid Spurs fan.
Mr. Jonathan K. Joyner was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas with a B.A. in Business. While at Southwestern University, Jonathan obtained a summer internship in San Antonio working for a San Antonio criminal defense firm. During those summers, Jonathan learned how to be an effective criminal defense attorney, how to aggressively advocate on behalf of his clients and how to deliver quality legal services. Jonathan also learned how important it was to have open lines of communication with his clients and to this day, all of his clients have direct access to him. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, Jonathan moved to East Lansing, Michigan where he attended Michigan State University College of Law.
While in law school, Jonathan completed a clinical program at Michigan State University College of Law where he had the opportunity to work on various legal issues and learned how to effectively represent his clients. After earning his Juris Doctor, Jonathan became a licensed attorney in the State of Texas in 2008.
